Description 3 Reviews The TWSBI ECO Serpentine fountain pen features a clear acrylic body and green and brown cap and turning knob, bronze trim, a piston ink-filling system, smooth-writing steel nib and a screw-on cap. The TWSBI ECO piston ink-filling system uses only bottled ink and the clear body allows the user to view the level of ink remaining in the pen at all times. The pen cap has an inner cap liner that maintains a thorough seal when the pen is not in use. The traditional mechanism of the fountain pen, combined with a modern industrial design, embodies both the past and the present. This pen runs about the same in length as the Diamond 580 and is just a tiny bit thinner. One difference between the ECO fountain pen and the other TWSBI pens is that the ECO does not have a removable nib unit, and the barrel and nib unit are all one piece. There will not be separate nib units for this pen. We offer Free Shipping on all orders over $59 for US customers! TWSBI believes that it is important to allow the user to disassemble and reassemble the pen, in order to completely experience the traditional aspects of owning and using a fountain pen. The TWSBI pen packaging includes a wrench and silicone grease. ** Please note that these accessories are not intended to be used immediately, as they are better used for long-term care and maintenance. In addition, please use extra care if you choose to disassemble the nib and feed, as the feed is very fragile, and breakage or cracking could occur. 3 Reviews Hide Reviews Show Reviews 5 Serpentine Bronze Eco Posted by John Fisher on Sep 9th 2025 This is a short review of the Serpentine Bronze Eco by TWSBI. There will be others that will do a more thorough review but i think this may be worth a look because I am not a WSBI fan. For all the years I've been using fountain pens and ink, I have managed to avoid the rush to get anything by TWSBI. Their products just left me cold. I could get a suitable piston filler elsewhere. The design is OK, not thrilled. A big deal for TWSBI is a new color-give me a break. I was that kind of person. But, the ice started to melt. I broke down and got a TWSBI GO to use for sampling and that shocked me . Then I bought a pen lot off Ebay that had a couple of Eco's and they surprised me. I just couldn't make myself turn out some money for a plain colored Eco or other pen. Then, this one showed up. I could not help myself. The resin sets this pen off and makes it unique. It really does not look like an Eco. The combination of resin and bronze colored clip, band and nib make this a serious looking pen that is steps above the humble plain Eco. All the standard specs are there. The nib performs well and writes smoothly on all the papers I have. I don't have much as far as paper goes since I use my pens exclusively for notes, journaling, sermon prep and lesson write ups. Performance was great. Looks are outstanding. I am actually looking forward to see what they will do in the future with these mixed resins. The combinations could be endless. 5 I Like THIS TWSBI Eco Posted by Kelly Keith Dunn on Sep 2nd 2025 First, I love my four TWSBI 1.1 Stub pens. Second, I REALLY love my new TWSBI ECO Serpentine Bronze fountain pen with a fine point. I found that it has become my everyday pen. I like the appearance—it works! 5 Wonderful! Posted by Mikenna on Aug 30th 2025 The pen is beautiful and write well (EF nib). Perfect for journaling and small handwriting while still flowing smoothly. Shipping was very quick. 10/10 would purchase this item again and from Cardinal Pens.
