Sheaffer Crest Touchdown Fountain Pen and Mechanical Pencil Set in Green with gold filled cap and trim. First year model "Fat" sized, ca. 1949. 14kt fine two tone conical nib. Touchdown filling and only fills from the bottle. Pencil in working order with 0.9mm lead. Eraser will need to be replaced should you wish to use it. In Very Good condition with typical dings to top of cap, and very minor barrel warping near blind cap. Comes with original box. Restored and ready to write.

Please Note: We recommend using Waterman Inks with this pen. The use of other modern inks, or inks with shimmer, may hamper the filling system and writing qualities of the pen. Also, if you use pen flush to clean your pens, make sure to use a non-ammonia based solution, since ammonia based solutions will not only shorten the life span of latex diaphragms and sacs but can also damage solid gold nibs.
