Description Sheaffer reinvents the iconic Balance fountain pen! The Sheaffer Balance III fountain pen in Black with Chrome trim features a classic cigar-shaped glossy black resin barrel and cap with chrome-plated trim and clip. The steel nib comes in several nib widths, and does write a bit wet. The screw cap closes securely, and does post on the end of the barrel while writing. The piston-filling mechanism uses bottled ink only, and the ink view window allows you to see when the ink level runs low. The Sheaffer proprietary converter for use with bottled ink is included. Additional Sheaffer cartridges are available in several colors. We offer Free Shipping on all orders over $69 for US customers!
