Esterbrook Full sized V-Clip fountain pen in black ca. 1932. Esterbrook's very first production pen. Please note it is not recommended to use the pocket clip on these early pens as they are prone to bending and snapping off. Later 2314-M Medium nib writes more like a Broad. Super crisp imprint. Spear style lever sits a touch proud of barrel. Lever filling only fills from the bottle. In excellent condition. Restored and ready to write.

Please Note: We recommend using Waterman Inks with this pen. The use of other modern inks, or inks with shimmer, may hamper the filling system and writing qualities of the pen. Also, if you use pen flush to clean your pens, make sure to use a non-ammonia based solution, since ammonia based solutions will not only shorten the life span of latex diaphragms and sacs but can also damage solid gold nibs.
