Description The Edison Comet fountain pen in Brandywine features a multi-colored flecked acrylic resin barrel and cap, with a contrasting yellow translucent cap finial, and has gold-plated trim and a gold-plated #6 steel nib engraved with the Edison logo. The design uses the cap finial as the largest part of this model, tapering from this point all the way to the end of the barrel. The finial has been made from a translucent material that represents a comet. The rest of the pen tapers to the end of the barrel, representing the comet’s tail. The Edison Comet will allow the cap to post onto the barrel of the pen while you are writing. Edison pens are made in the USA in Milan, Ohio. The Edison Comet fountain pen comes packaged in a clamshell box with a standard international converter for use with bottled ink. Short standard international cartridges are available as well. The nib options for the pen range from steel EF through Broad, plus 1.1mm and 1.5mm stub sizes. Additional Edison fountain pen nib units are available separately as well.
